We All Have A Different Definition Of Shorter.

Giving A Haircut Should Always Be Fun...

I find that if you know the goal of what the desired haircut is

the client tends to be more relaxed.

As The Hairstylist- you should NEVER be afraid to ask

what the client wants.. & LISTEN to the answer.

As The Client- you should NEVER be afraid to tell

the stylist what you want- & do BRING pictures.

Not all clients speak hairstylist lingo....

 & not all stylist have the same concept

of what "shorter" is....

so yes... DO bring pictures of what you want.

Don't Be Afraid To Keep Them In Position. :-D

Haircut With 4 Layers & Framing...

                                      She only wanted a few layers... & some face framing...

This is a client of mine.

I gave her 4 layers... & took a half inch off the bottom -
I then added the face framing
I finished it off by blow drying... & then added a few hot rollers...

I LOVE showing clients what a few layers added to the hair can do! :-D
